The Angels and the White Sox finish their three game series in Chicago as the Angels are going for the series sweep. Get MLB odds at Bovada sportsbook.
Los Angeles (14-22) could not have imagined a worse start to the season at 11-22. But, the Angels have now won three games in a row, two of them against the White Sox in Chicago. Their other win came against the Astros in Houston. After the series with Chicago, the Angels will finally come home for a series with the Kansas City Royals. C.J. Wilson will get the start for the Angels on Sunday against the White Sox. Wilson is 3-1 in his seven starts and Wilson has kept an ERA of less than four this season.
The White Sox (14-20) are not having a great year either but still have a better record than the Angels. Chicago has now lost five of their last seven games and are not in great form heading into this series finale with the Angels. It would be nice for Chicago to avoid a sweep before heading on the road to Minnesota. Chris Sale, 3-2 in seven starts, will pitch for the White Sox. Sale’s ERA is a solid 3.42.
The Angels are 15-21 against the spread and the Sox are an even 17-17.
It is a good pitching matchup and I will go with Wilson and the Angels for the sweep. They have played a lot better as of late and I see that continuing on Sunday at www.sportsbookroom.com.
