The Angels look to finally win a game in Houston against the Astros for the third and final game of the series. Check the MLB odds at Bovada sportsbook.
Los Angeles (12-22) just cannot do anything right. They did a whole lot right in the offseason when they brought in players that would make them the most lethal lineup in all of baseball. That whole notion of being the best lineup works pretty well on paper but it has not done anything for them on the field. They have just won 12 games and sit 10 games below .500 as the season begins to progress. Los Angeles has now lost five of their last games and could be facing a sweep to the Astros, who should not be competing with the Angels like they have been in this series. Before the Houston series, LA lost three out of four to the Baltimore Orioles. None of the final deficts against Baltimore were more than four runs but it still resulted in three losses.
The Astros (10-24) are even worse than the Angels but have beaten them in the two games this series. Before this little two game winning streak, the Astros lost six games in a row to the Tigers and Yankees and 10 of their last 11 games for an absolute dreadful stretch.
LA is 14-18 against the spread and Houston is 14-19.
I am picking the Angels, almost without a doubt. There is no way that they can lose three in a row to Houston, who has been awful lately. LA in a beat down is my prediction at the sports books.
