The Angels are trying to keep what momentum they have into the series with the Royals, which begins on Thursday. Check the MLB odds at Bovada sportsbook.
Los Angeles (19-27) has struggled mightily this season and they are not the only team from the city of angels that has not played to their potential. Things could be looking up, though, after they have won their last four games heading in to the series with the Royals. After losing the first two games of the series with the White Sox, LA won the last two and then carried that over to the two games with the Mariners. The Angels outscored the Mariners 19-1 in the two games that they played each other. Joe Blanton will pitch for the Angels and will look to keep this streak going. Blanton has not won a single game yet and is 0-7 in his nine starts with an ERA of 6.62.
The Royals (21-22) are hovering right around the .500 mark but enter this series on a sour note. Kansas City was three games above before losing four games in a row to the A’s and the Astros. The won a game in Houston to end the streak but lost their latest game, also against the Astros. Earlier this month, the Royals beat the Angels twice in a three game series.
The Angels are 20-26 against the spread and the Royals are 24-19.
