In a battle of two Western Conference foes, the Clippers look to solidify their third place spot and try to pull away from the Nuggets and Grizzlies. Check out the NBA odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Clippers (48-22) are affectionately known as Lob City for their constant alley-oops and fun style of play. The Clippers are on a two game win streak with the games coming against the 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets, both at home. With that said, LA has been 6-4 in their last ten and lost a lot of ground to the Nuggets who just had their 15 game win streak snapped. LA and Denver are tied for third and the Memphis Grizzlies sit just a game behind both of them. In both games this season against the Mavericks, LA has won but they were both at home in the Staples Center.
Dallas (34-36) is just two years removed from their NBA Championship and now sit in 10th in the Western Conference. Dirk Nowitzki has only played about 40 games this year but averaged about 17 points in those games. OJ Mayo is also averaging about 17 a game in his own right. Dallas has been decent at home, sporting a 20-14 record. They can be described as surging thanks to winning their last two games, against Boston and Utah, and winning seven of their last 10. They are just 11 games out of eighth place in the West.
LA is good against the spread at 38-32 and 17-17 on the road. Dallas is even better at 41-29 ATS this season and 18-16 at home.
The Clippers are too good for Dallas and I think they will just run them out of the gym with their athleticism but first read a sports book review.
