In one of the most intriguing matchups of the opening round series in the playoffs, the Clippers took care of business at home in the first two games and now send the series to Memphis. Check NBA odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Clippers (2-0) were able to keep control of the series after winning both of their home games. LA dominated the Grizzlies in Game 1 and then was able to hold on in Game 2. Chris Paul was the man of the night after banking in the game winner at the buzzer in the second game. Paul, who finished with 24 points, was able to get a step on the defender and then put up the eventual game winner at the buzzer. Paul added nine assists and four rebounds in a great all-around performance. Blake Griffin put up 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists. The Clippers are just 24-17 on the road this season and it will be interesting to see how they play in Memphis.
The Grizzlies (0-2) have not lost a home game yet so they are not out of this series by any stretch of the imagination. They need more from Zach Randolph, if they are going to stay in it, however. Z-Bo had 13 points on just 10 shots and added eight rebounds. Mike Conley scored 28 and added nine assists in a good performance offensively.
Each team is 1-1 against the spread in this series. The Grizzlies lost the game in dramatic fashion in Game 2 but won against the spread.
I believe the Grizzlies will fight but the Clippers went into Memphis late in the season and stole home court advantage in this series. Take LA plus the points but before wagering read online sportsbook reviews.
