The Dodgers and the Angels kick off their three game series on Monday during Interleague Rivalry Week. MLB odds are found at Bovada sportsbook.
The Dodgers (20-28) have now switched off between wins and losses for the past week now. After they won the second game of the series with the Cardinals, it looked like they were going to take two out of three because they had Clayton Kershaw, one of the best pitchers in all of the Majors on the mound. Kershaw gave up four runs, including three in the second inning and received his third loss of the season to drop to 5-3. Carl Crawford had a big game when he went 3 for 4 and scored a run. Now, the Dodgers will take on their city rivals, the Angels, and will pitch Zack Greinke. Greinke is 2-1 this year.
The Angels (23-27) are starting to really whip it into shape. Both of these Los Angeles teams had bright outlooks heading into the season but neither of them started very strong. The Angels have now ripped off eight consecutive wins and are only four games under .500 now. They just completed a four game sweep of the Royals in Kansas City and did not give up more than four runs in any game.
The Dodgers are just 19-29 against the spread while the other team from LA is 24-26 ATS.
This could be a very good pitching matchup and Greinke has the ability to shut down this Angel offense that is hot right now. But, I don’t think the Dodgers have enough to put the runs on the board. Angels win again but first check out a sports book review.
