The Lakers (0-1) are playing without Kobe Bryant on the court but he is sure on the social networks making his voice heard. Throughout Game 1, Bryant was on Twitter, tweeting about the game and giving his advice when it comes to the game plan. What he kept saying was to give the ball inside to the big boys. Dwight Howard had 20 points and 15 rebounds in his first playoff game with the Lakers and Pau Gasol had 16 points and 16 rebounds. Gasol added six assists as well. Steve Nash did not look himself and had 16 points and just three assists. Earl Clark, who played an influential part in the Lakers making the playoffs, played just 12 minutes and did not shoot a single shot and finished with 0 points and 0 assists and just one rebound.
The Spurs (1-0) received great production from Manu Ginobili, coming off an injury. Ginobili scored 18 points in just 19 minutes and made a huge impact off the bench. Tony Parker scored 21 and dished out eight assists as well. The 24-15 first quarter edge for the Spurs pushed them passed the Lakers in Game 1.
