Duke looks to take down the last 1-seed remaining on its way to another potential Final Four in a battle of two coaches with extraordinary pedigrees. Check out NCAA Tournament odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
Louisville (32-5) has been a likely candidate to make the Final Four all season long and they are not letting anyone down. The Big East Tournament Champions have cruised through the tournament thus far with wins over North Carolina A&T, Colorado State and 12-seed Oregon in the Sweet 16. The Cardinals are so solid across the board with Rick Pitino leading the way. Pitino has yet to lose a Sweet 16 game; he is 11-0 lifetime.
The Duke Blue Devils (30-5) are always dangerous in March and this season is no different. They won some huge games at the beginning of the season and then lost Ryan Kelly to a serious foot injury. They lost a couple games during his absence, including a 27-point crushing in Miami, but went right back to winning upon his return. They have only lost one game while having Kelly in the lineup, to Maryland in the ACC Conference Tournament quarterfinal. Duke hasn’t had much trouble in the tournament, disposing Albany, Creighton and a very good Michigan State squad all by double digits. Coach K looks to get to yet another Final Four in this matchup.
Louisville is 22-15 against the spread this year and 2-1 in the tournament. Duke is 19-16 ATS and 2-1 in tournament.
I think Louisville wins this one. Duke can go through serious shooting struggles, but I just think that Louisville has been so strong all season and makes sure that at least one 1-seed gets to the Final Four at best online sportsbooks.
