Number one overall seed, Louisville takes on upset-minded Oregon for a chance at the Elite 8. Find NCAA Tournament odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
Louisville (31-5) sort of flew under the radar for the most part because they were never really in the top five in the country until the very end of the season. The Cardinals finished extremely strong and found themselves in the Big East Tournament Championship. Louisville was down by double digits in the first half but came storming back and won by 17. They were given the number one overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and scorched North Carolina A&T by 31 in the Round of 64. In the Round of 32, the Cardinals were matched up with 9-seed Colorado State. Louisville crushed Colorado State by 26, despite Coach Rick Petino praising their play at halftime.
Oregon (28-8) was a questionable team before running the table in the Pac-12 Tournament. The Ducks took down Washington, Utah and then UCLA in the title game. The Ducks were given a 12-seed, which many people thought was disrespectful. Oregon has being making those people look right after beating Oklahoma State by 13 and then a very tough Saint Louis team to make it to the Sweet 16.
Against the spread, Louisville is 22-14 and have covered in both games this tournament. Oregon is 15-18-1 ATS throughout the season and also covered both games this tournament.
I think Oregon is a lot better than many people gave them credit for throughout the season but I also believe that Louisville ends all this madness and advances but first read sportsbook reviews.
