Marquette has rebounded with two convincing wins after getting drubbed by Louisville last week. They are now 17-5 SU and 9-9 ATS, but only 2-4 on the road. They have played well in conference action, going 8-2 so far this year. Over their last 10 games, they are 8-2 SU and 6-4 ATS. Overall the Golden Eagles now sit in first place in the Big East with a 8-2 mark after their most recent win against Depaul this weekend. Although this game will be on the road at Georgetown, Marquette has an impressive 22 game winning streak at home. They do however face a long trip to Washington DC to face the Hoyas who will definitely be jacked up playing in front of their home crowd on national TV.
The Hoyas have won five games in a row to improve to 17-4 SU and 10-7 ATS, as well as 7-3 in Big East play. They have been terrific at home, posting a 12-1 mark for the season. Georgetown is 7-3 straight up in their 10 games, as well as 8-2 against the spread. Georgetown’s most recent win was not overly impressive, but they did beat a Rutgers team that was desperate for a win and as most good teams do they defended their home court. At stake for the Hoyas in this game is a share for the Big East lead with Marquette so expect JTIII to have the Hoyas ready to roll tonight.
Georgetown is a 4 ½ point favorite. The Hoyas have been on another level lately, and even though Marquette has a better conference record than Georgetown sometimes records can be deceiving. Take the Hoyas -4 ½ and for them to be tied for the conference lead with the Golden Eagles but first read online sportsbook reviews.
