The Thunder survived Game 1 in OKC but are having a lot more trouble without Russell Westbrook in their lineup. Check the NBA playoff odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Grizzlies (0-1) were so close to winning a pivotal road game to start this series with the top-seeded Thunder. The Grizzlies defeated the Clippers in the first round of the playoffs by pounding the ball inside to Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol. Memphis did just that in Game 1 against the Thunder to give them a chance to start this series. Gasol finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds on the inside and Randolph had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Mike Conley Jr. scored 13 points on 5-15 shooting and Quincy Pondexter added 13 off the bench in 25 minutes.
The Thunder (1-0) are living on the edge without Westbrook and it has really been showing towards the end of the series with the Rockets and now in Game 1. Kevin Durant has taken the scoring load and put up 35 points, 15 rebounds and six assists. Durant has been playing out of his mind lately but he needs some help. Reggie Jackson has been helping but only had 12 in Game 1. Kevin Martin scored a massive 25 points off the bench.
The Grizzlies are 6-1 against the spread and the Thunder are 3-4 ATS.
It has been close but I like the Thunder to win Game 2 in Oklahoma City. Kevin Durant is just too much to handle on the offensive end and too tough to stop so take OKC but first check the sports book.
