The Grizzlies will try to bounce back after the beat down in Game 1 against the Spurs and maybe take a vital road win in San Antonio. Check NBA odds at Bovada sportsbook.
Memphis (0-1) is just four wins away from making their first appearance in the NBA Finals, but if Game 1 meant anything for the next couple of games, it is going to be pretty tough. The Grizzlies could not do anything and they definitely could not defend the three ball. The Grizzlies have been one of the best teams when it comes to defending this season, but Memphis gave up 14 made three-pointers to the Spurs in Game 1. Zach Randolph was virtually invisible in the opening game. Randolph scored two points on just 1-8 shooting in 28 minutes to begin the series. Quincy Pondexter was the leading scorer for the Grizzlies and a very surprising leading scorer. Pondexter scored 17 off the bench.
San Antonio (1-0) got just the start they needed to eventually get to the Finals. But, this thing is a long way from over and the Spurs need to try to duplicate that same performance in Game 1. Tony Parker scored 20 points to lead all scorers and Kawhi Leonard scored 17 on 4-5 shooting from three-point range. Matt Bonner played 17 minutes and made four, three-pointers as well.
After getting blown out, Memphis is now 10-2 against the spread in this postseason. The Spurs increase their record to 8-3 ATS in the postseason.
