LeBron James returns to his old home in Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers and extend their streak to 24. Check out the NBA odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
The Heat (52-14) faced maybe their toughest test during the streak in Boston on Monday night. They took the test head-on and passed in the final moments. After losing by more than 15, the Heat erased the deficit and thanks to LeBron James’ game-winner with 10 seconds left, Miami’s streak has now reached 23. James finished with 37 points and looked completely calm during those moments when Boston was absolutely taking it to the defending champions. Miami has been tremendous is this 23 game streak and there is a little irony in this game against Cleveland. The streak is now at the same number that LeBron wore when he was a member of the Cavaliers.
The Cleveland Cavaliers (22-45) have some very promising stars in Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters. The promise will have to wait a couple years as the Cavs are far from competing for a playoff position. Cleveland has lost their last three, including their last game at home against Indiana. I am sure Cleveland owner, Dan Gilbert, would love to end Miami’s streak after his absurd comments after LeBron’s departure.
Miami is 35-31 ATS and 18-15 as the road team. Cleveland is 34-32-1 ATS and only 14-19 at home.
The Heat are absolutely rolling and after that huge comeback win in Boston; I do not see Miami relaxing for the game in LeBron’s old town. Miami is way too strong for the Cavs at online sportsbooks.
