The NBA Finals head back to Miami for game six tonight between the Spurs and Heat. Check the NBA odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Spurs made a point in game five, taking the Heat down 114 -104 two days ago. With the win, we must first extend out welcome to the finals to Manu Ginobili who finally accepted the league’s invitation to the party by showing up in style. The gritty veteran posted 24 points on 8-14 shooting and 10 rebounds after being inserted into the starting lineup for the first time all season by Popovich. His presence was just as important to the Spurs in game five as Wade’s was in game six. It was nice to see him maneuvering in the lanes and getting those “how the hell did he get that shot off” balls to go in that we are so accustomed to seeing from the 35 year old Argentinian. Danny Green set the record for most three pointers in an NBA Finals by hitting 6-10 from deep. Parker was brilliant as always, scoring 25 points and Tim Duncan had his standard 17 and 12.
LeBron and Wade each scored 25 for Miami in the loss, but LeBron was just 8-22 from the field; once again spectacular defense from Kawhi Leonard. Chris Bosh was a solid 7-10 from the field and grabbed 6 rebounds as he seems to be coming back to form for the Heat. I think Miami was just victim to an A+ game for the Spurs on their home court when their opponent knew they could not win the series without the victory.
I would be crazy to pick against the Heat, seeing as this series has been seesawing. The question is can they cover 7 points, which I think they will as every win they have had has been double digits at www.sportsbookroom.com.
