The struggling Marlins look to beat the Dodgers for the second day in a row in Los Angeles. Find MLB odds at Top Bet sportsbook.
The Marlins (11-26) entered the Dodgers series on a bit of a decline. They were just swept by the Padres, who really are not a great team, and lost two out of four to the Phillies. The series is now split after the Marlins were defeated 7-1 in the second game of the series. Tom Koehler will make his seventh start of the season and he has yet to have a decision. His ERA is 3.18 but the Marlins have only won one of the games that he started.
Los Angeles (14-21) are seriously struggling. The Dodgers are now seven games below .500 and lost eight games in a row before finally winning on Saturday against the Marlins. The win was their first in the month of May. Chris Capuano, 0-2 in two starts, will get the nod for LA on Sunday. Capuano has an ERA of up over 10 and the Dodgers lost 9-2 in both games that he started.
The Marlins are 20-17 against the spread, which is surprising considering their record. Los Angeles is 13-22 ATS, which is not all that surprising.
Neither of these pitchers are having a good season but I am going to pick the Dodgers for the second day in a row to get another win. Capuano has shown the ability to really pitch well and it is only a matter of time until he gets back to that form so to take LA Click Here.
