Milwaukee (16-24) has been absolutely dreadful in this month of May. In this 15 Pirates and the Rangers and they lost every one game this month. Somehow, the Brewers are still within eight games of being .500 despite being basically the worst team in the league in the past three weeks. In the first game of this series, Wily Peralta received the loss for Milwaukee and drops to 3-4 on the year. Peralta gave up six runs in the 7-6 loss to St. Louis. Aramis Ramirez had two hits and drove in a very impressive six runs for Milwaukee. Aoki was three for four at the plate and Marco Estrada will start on Saturday for Milwaukee.

The Cardinals (27-14) are the complete opposite of the Brewers in this month of May. St. Louis is 12-3 in the month of May, virtually the opposite of what their opponent was able to do in the same month. Jaime Garcia got the win for the Cardinals and is now 5-2 this year. Lance Lynn, the Cardinals best pitcher this season, is 6-1 on the year and will start for St. Louis on Saturday.

Milwaukee is 15-24 against the spread while the Cardinals are 23-17 ATS.
