The Milwaukee Brewers and Washington Nationals start their three game series tonight in Washington. Yovani Gallardo and Jordan Zimmerman are the probably starters. Updated MLB odds can be found at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
The Nationals are coming off a thrashing of the New York Mets to close their series out yesterday. They are 5.5 games back of the Atlanta Braves for first place in the NL East. Jordan Zimmerman gets the nod today as he enters with an 11-3 record, 2.28 ERA and 0.92 WHIP. In his last ten games he is 6-2 with a 2.67 ERA including winning his last two starts. In those wins he has pitched a combined 15 innings, gave up nine hits and two earned runs while striking out 13. In his last three home starts he is 4-0 with a 1.98 ERA. Washington has won six of their last and are 22-16 at home this season.
The Milwaukee Brewers enter in last place in the NL Central, 17.5 games back of the Pirates for first place. They have lost four in a row and are 13-24 on the road this season. Gallardo enters with a 6-7 record, 4.20 ERA and 1.39 WHIP. He lost his last start against the Chicago Cubs lasting just four innings, giving up eight hits and three earned runs and four walks. His last win came in Cincinnati where gave up six innings giving up three earned runs and striking out five.
I’m going with the Nationals in this game as they are coming a 13-2 shellacking yesterday and look for two in a row but first claim sportsbook promotion codes.
