The Bucks look to steal a game in Miami to start the opening round series against the top seeded Heat. Get NBA odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Bucks (38-44) were an unbelievable six games under .500 yet still made the playoffs as the eight seed with a bunch of games to spare. A lot of talk this week was about guard Brandon Jennings and how he guaranteed a series win for the Bucks in six games. It seems a bit immature but we will see how Jennings and the rest of his squad come to play. The Bucks were just 17-24 on the road and come into the playoffs winning just three games out of their last 10. The two teams played four times and the Bucks lost three of them this season.
The Heat (66-16) own the best record in the NBA and won the most games in franchise history this season. It seems like they are playing on a level even better than last season, a season in which they brought home the championship. Miami is a remarkable 37-4 this season and they have won eight games in a row entering the playoffs. A lot of the big names have been resting for the last couple of weeks of the season in order to get ready for the playoffs and I think that will bode well for them when it comes to the latter stages.
The Bucks are 37-45 against the spread and the Heat are 46-36 ATS. The Heat will win this game. I can’t imagine the Bucks winning more than one game this series before they are quickly ousted but first read a sports book review.
