In a battle of two teams that each have just 24 wins, the T-Wolves go to Detroit to take on the Pistons in what should be a very popular matchup if you like bad basketball. Check out NBA odds at Top Bet sportsbook.
The Timberwolves (24-44) have been pretty awful this year but sit just 11 games out of the eighth place in the Western Conference. In Minnesota’s defense, they have been extremely decimated this season due to injuries. Kevin Love, easily their best player and someone who was an incredible inside presence who could bounce outside and hit the deep ball, has only played 18 games this season but averaged 18 points and 14 rebounds in them. Ricky Rubio has started less than 35 games this season as well. On the road, Minnesota has definitely struggled and is 8-27 and they have lost seven of their last 10 games overall.
The Pistons (24-47) might be most popular for DeAndre Jordan’s dunk on them some weeks ago. Jordan, from the LA Clippers, posterized Piston Brandon Knight and advise anyone who hasn’t seen it yet to immediately go watch it. Detroit is better than just three teams in the Eastern Conference according to their records this season. Detroit is coming off a rare victory against the Charlotte Bobcats, the worst team in the league. Before that victory, the Pistons lost their last 10 games.
The Timberwolves are 30-36-2 against the spread this season and 15-19-1 as the road team. The Pistons are 32-39 ATS but just 8-15 coming off wins. At home, Detroit is 15-21 against the spread.
This is a tough pick but I am going with the Pistons basically just because they have been better at home than Minnesota is on the road to take Detroit Click Here.
