The Braves are one win away from the series sweep as well as they have just beat the Twins twice in Atlanta. Get MLB odds at Top Bet sportsbook.
The Twins (18-24) are in the worst form they have been in all season long. Minnesota is now six games below .500 after they have just lost their last seven games, including two against the Braves. The Twins were right around .500 when they entered this month and were still above the mark when they began this horrendous losing streak. Vance Worley is going to start for the Twins on Wednesday. Worley was the second to last pitcher to actually win a game for the Twins. That win was Worley’s first of the year, who is now 1-4 with an ERA of 6.20.
The Braves (27-18) are entering this game in the most opposite way possible. Atlanta has won the last five games, including two against the Twins. In those five games, their offense has not been overwhelming but their pitching and defense has been incredible. In three of the five games, the Braves held their opponents to one or two runs. In addition, in not a single game did the Braves get scored on more than five times.
Despite their struggles, the Twins are still 23-18 against the spread this season and the Braves are 24-20 ATS.
As good as the Braves have been playing, I don’t think that they will sweep the Twins. It is too hard to beat a team three times in three days so to take Minnesota Click Here.
