The White Sox are in last place in the AL Central, and look to Sale to begin pushing them in the right direction. Sale has been the main victim of the Sox offensive woes, posting an impressive 2.55 ERA, but only a 5-5 record. In 85 1/3 innings this season, Sale as surrendered just 55 hits, 23 earned runs, and has struck out 86 in his second season. In his last start he went eight innings, gave up five hits and no earned runs while striking out 14. Somehow he received the loss because he gave up two unearned runs, and his team thanked him by giving him just one run. Not a fun year to be a Sale fantasy owner. The White Sox are nine back in the Central and are 14-19 on the road this season.
The Twins are currently just ahead of the White Sox in fourth place in the Central. Correia enters with a 5-4 record to go alongside his 3.97 ERA and 1.35 WHIP. At home this season, he has posted an impressive 2.83 ERA in 47 2/32 innings pitched. He has not received a decision in three starts, but in his last outing against Philadelphia he went just five innings while giving up eight hits and only one earned run. The Twins are 16-17 at home this season.
Sale is a pure ace but his team cannot score runs. Against a team below .500, this is a recipe for playing the total and going under at online sportsbooks.
