The Cincinnati Reds will look to continue their solid play as they go for their second win in a row tonight versus the Milwaukee Brewers. All odds for all games can be found at BetOnline sportsbook.
Milwaukee has been a very difficult team to figure out so far this season and right when it looks like they’re playing well they fall back and have a bad stretch. They lost 3-1 to Cincinnati on Monday as it was the bats that let the Brewers down. Pitcher Yovani Gallardo had a solid outing allowing just two runs in six innings, but it was not enough for the win. Marco Estrada will take the hill tonight in what will be his first outing after a period spent on the disabled list.
The Reds were not playing well over the past week or so, but they hope that after Monday’s win versus Brewers they will get back on track. As is the case with most teams the Reds offense has struggled during her inconsistent play, but the Reds have the horses in the long-term to score plenty of runs. They got a stellar pitching performance yesterday out of Mat Latos who pitched a complete game four-hitter and struck out 12 Brewers. Bronson Arroyo will look to continue the winning ways tonight. He is just 2-5 in his last seven starts and is coming off one of his worst outings of the season.
With Estrada coming off an injury he is an unknown to say the least. Arroyo has been very hittable lately, but we think he and the Reds will do enough to win this game. Take Cincinnati, the first place team, as moneyline favorites at home at best sportsbooks online.
