The Arizona Diamondbacks continue their visit to Texas as they take on the Texas rangers in game two of their series on Wednesday night. All MLB odds can be found at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
The Texas Rangers got off to a good start in this series last night with the wind. They totaled 16 hits and scored nine runs in the process as Colby Lewis dominated the Diamondback bats going seven full innings in route to his fifth win of the season. Today the Rangers will send Matt Harrison to the mound who will be looking for his fifth win in a row.
The Arizona Diamondbacks are a completely different team than they were just one year ago and it showed on Tuesday as they were beaten in around. They only amassed four hits and one run total for the entire game. On Wednesday Arizona will turn to Wade Miley who has actually been pretty successful this season winning four of his last five starts. Miley is pitching to a 2.53 ERA in 67 innings of work.
Texas is 7-1 in their last eight interleague games as a favorite, 2-5 in their last seven home games against a left handed starter, and 10-4 in Harrison’s last 14 starts as a home favorite. Arizona is 5-1 in their last six games overall, 6-16 in their last 22 road games against a team with a winning record, and 4-1 in Miley’s last five road starts.
We do not really see s super strong play in this one other then betting the Rangers as a moneyline favorite at online sports books.
