The Oakland Athletics travel to Arizona to face the Diamondbacks in the first of a weekend series. Get your MLB odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Diamondbacks are close to .500 on the season which is certainly not good enough to in contention in the NL West. They are 12-16 at home which is a mark that is contributing to their mediocrity. Daniel Hudson takes the mound tonight and he actually won his last start. Overall though, he has only pitched 31 innings on the season.
The A’s have played extremely hard in every game this season and that is evident when you watch them play. They are just 13-16 on the road this season and the offense is led by the young Josh Reddick who is a former farmhand of the Red Sox. Tom Millone will tow the rubber tonight and the righty has actually pitched into some tough luck. Millone has a solid 3.53 ERA guy for the A’s
Arizona is 4-1 in their last five home games, 1-7 in their last eight games against the A.L. West, and 13-5 in Hudson’s last 18 home starts. Oakland is 4-11 in their last 15 games overall, 1-5 in their last six road games, and 1-7 in their last eight games against a team with a losing record.
We like to look at the under in any game that Oakland is playing in. In this game it makes sense because I do not think they will hit period so before wagering read a sports book review.
