The San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Angels square off in an interleague matchup tonight. MLB odds can be found at Just Bet sportsbook.
The Giants are coming off of a 2-1 loss to Seattle on Sunday which makes it three of four that the Giants have lost. They are however right back in the thick of the National League West race as a result of playing some very good baseball leading up to this point. They will look to get their offense back on track which struggled this weekend verse the Mariners. Star pitcher Matt Cain will get the ball in game one of the series. Cain has won 7 games in a row and of course is coming off of a perfect game in which he struck out 14 batters.
The Angels are coming into this game on a roll and beat the Diamondbacks 2-0 on Sunday. They have their eyes on the first place Rangers and have won 8 of 11 overall. Albert Pujols homered for the 10th time on Sunday which was one of the lone bright spots fun offense that put up just two runs. Tonight the Angels will start Jerome Williams who has lost back-to-back starts. In his last two starts he has actually let up 10 runs on 15 hits and just 13 innings of work.
This is a tough game to pick but you have to like what you seen from Matt Cain lately and we see no signs of him slowing down. It will be interesting to see him matchup against the good bats of the Angels but we will take the Giants as a moneyline favorite in this game so before wagering get sportsbook promotion codes.
