The Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles will meet in a day/night doubleheader tonight from Baltimore. This is the preview for game 2. All MLB odds can be found by visiting Oddsmaker sportsbook.
The Rangers have picked up this season where they left off the previous two and that is red hot. They are one of the best hitting teams in the league and are absolutely deadly when all pistons are firing. Their pitching is also solid and when they have that aspect going they are almost unbeatable. The Rangers have rebounded well after a tough stretch as they have outscored the Orioles 24-6 since coming to Camden Yards. Derek Holland will get the ball for game two tonight and will be trying to build on his last start vs. the Indians. Holland allowed only 1 earned run in 7 plus innings vs. the Tribe.
The Orioles came into this series hot, but have come back to earth a bit as of late. The Orioles are still on top of the AL East at this point. There is some question as to whether they can sustain this level of play the entire season. The O’s will be looking to rebound tonight from two subpar performances tonight. Tommy Hunter will get the start for the O’s and will be pitching on 3 days rest.
Usually we like to see what happens in the first game of a DH before making a prediction, but we do not like the fact that Hunter is starting on 3 days rest. This is why we like the Rangers as a solid ML play in this one but before getting down on this game read sportsbook reviews.
