The Lakers defeated the Nuggets 103-88 in game one of the series, but were given a much more stern test in game two. Ty Lawson led the Nuggets with 25 points and 7 assists. The supporting case however did not play to the level that the Nuggets were expecting however. The trio of Danilo Gallinari, Aaron Afflalo, and Andre Miller combined for only 24 points. The Nuggets did show however that they can hang with the Lakers and did not look as outmatched as they did in game one.
Kobe Bryant was great for the Lakers scoring 38 points and shot a high percentage from the field as well. Andrew Bynum dominated inside again and scored 27 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Pau Gasol was also a solid contributor as well have a stellar all around game with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The Lakers will be looking to take a commanding 3-0 series lead tonight, but do not expect the Nuggets to just roll over. They played better in game two, but are likely to get better games from some of the key players we outlined earlier. With that said, we cannot resist taking the Lakers as an underdog at best online sportsbooks.
