The Nuggets struggled in the first two games in L.A., but they looked right a home on Friday night as they defeated the Lakers 99-84. The series now stands with the Lakers holding a 2-1 advantage. Ty Lawson scored 25 points and had 7 assists as well. Kenneth Faried and JaVale McGee both had great game as they had 15 rebounds a piece and combined for 28 points. The Nuggets improved their defense, forcing 15 turnovers in game 3.
The Lakers had a dreadful game on the offensive end. Andrew Bynum ended up with 18 points and 12 rebounds, but did not score a point at all in the first half. Kobe Bryant scored 22 points, but shot a very low percentage from the field. The Lakers only scored 9 points from the bench while the Nuggets got 39 points from their reserves.
