Head to head, the underdog is 24-10-1 ATS in the last 35 meetings. The Heat are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 playoff games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5, 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 Conference Semifinals games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games. The Pacers on the other hand are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600, 2-6 ATS in their last 8 playoff games as an underdog of 5.0-10.5 and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Conference Semifinals games.
The Heat came from behind to take Game One from the Pacers to take a 1-0 series lead on Sunday. When they got down early Miami did not panic and turned to Dwayne Wade and LeBron James to take over. The two superstars combined to score 61 points in the win. The Heat ended up winning the game 95-86 despite losing Chris Bosh who left the game with a muscle strain in the second quarter. David West and Roy Hibbert led the Pacers with 17 points each, but star Danny Granger struggled only going 1-10 from the field in the loss.
The Pacers looked like a good bet until halftime in game one until Miami blew their doors in during a second half run. You would have to think that the Pacers will look to dominate inside without the presence of Bosh in the middle. Thinking that will happen and Granger playing better as well, we like the Pacers in this one to at least cover and maybe even win outright sports book.
