The Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics continue tonight with their playoff series with Game 2 from Boston’s TD Garden. Odds for this game can be found by visiting Bovada sportsbook.
Head to head, the 76ers are 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings, while the favorite is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings and the home team is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings. The Celtics are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 playoff games as a favorite of 0.5-4.5 and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a losing road record, but just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Conference Semifinals games. The 76ers on the other hand are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 playoff games as an underdog of 0.5-4.5, but just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog of 0.5-4.5.
Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo led the Celtics to a very competitive 92-91 victory in Game 1 on Saturday night. Garnett turned back the clock to score 29 points and grab 11 rebounds. Rondo once again was fantastic and stuffed the stat sheet to the tune of a triple double. The Celtics trailed by double digits early in the game, but came roaring back to earn the win. Andre Igoudala and Evan Turner led the 76ers in the loss, as this was the 76ers first second round playoff game in 9 years.
We were a bit surprised to see the Celtics installed as such little favorites as they are. While we expect another very good game tonight, we like the Celtics to cover nonetheless with sportsbook betting.
