The Indiana Pacers look to take the lead in the series tonight at home as they host the Miami Heat. All NBA playoff odds can be found by visiting Oddsmaker sportsbook.
Game two did not go well for the Heat as they lost and gave up home court advantage in the series. It was harder then they expected to operate without Chris Bosh who is going to miss the rest of this series with an abdominal injury. LeBron James saw a lot more minutes at power forward which he looked good doing for a while, but you could tell the 43 minutes he logged hurt his production at the end of the game. Dwayne Wade ended up scoring 24 points for the game, but it took him 22 shots to do so. LeBron ended up with 28 points, 8 rebounds, five assists and 6 steals in what was an excellent all around performance.
The Pacers game out ready in Game 2 and earned the 78-75 win over the Heat. As expected, they outrebounded Miami 50-40 due to the absence of Bosh. Controlling the boards limited the Heat’s vaunted fast break attack. It was an all around team effort as David West led the Pacers with 16. The game was not the prettiest game in the world, but the Pacers won and that is probably all they really care about.
We think all of the people blaming LeBron James today is a little harsh, but it is now on to Game 3 and the Heat will still be without Bosh. We also think the crowd in Indianapolis will be rocking and that the Pacers will find a way to win another very close game with sportsbook betting.
