The Indiana Pacers host the Orlando Magic in game 1 of an Eastern Conference playoff series tonight. All up to date lines for this game can be found at BetOnline sportsbook.
The Magic will make their playoff run without the services of Dwight Howard who has caused chaos for this team all season. Howard missed the last 10 games of the regular season and they went 4-6 during that stretch. While they will never replace Dwight Howard, Glen Davis and Ryan Anderson have stepped up their play since Howard went down. The defensive end has suffered at times obviously without Howard in the middle.
The Pacers on the other hand enter the playoffs on a role having won 12 of 15 games to end the season. The Pacers got off to a 16-6 start this season and basically never looked back. Danny Granger seems to finally be getting back on track which is a good sign as he is averaging 21 points per game in the month of April. Leandro Barbosa is listed as a game time decision and is the real only injury concern for the Pacers.
Head to head, Orlando won three of four regular-season meetings and are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Indiana.
Game 1 of a playoff series can be tricky because you never know how the matchups will play out. We are pretty certain though that Roy Hibbert and David West will dominate inside today. Let’s go with the Pacers and a cover in this one at the sports book.
