The Indiana Pacers will be looking to sweep the season series vs. the lowly New Jersey Nets tonight as the two teams meet in New Jersey. Be sure to check out all current odds on all the NBA games at Bovada sportsbook.
Head to head the Pacers are a commanding 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings and an even more dominant 6-0 ATS in the last six meeting in New Jersey. The favorite in this matchup is 19-7 ATS in the last 26 and the road team is 5-0 ATS in the last five as well. The Nets are as you might expect 2-5 ATS in their last 7 versus teams with a plus .600 winning percentage. The Nets are just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 overall. The Pacers are just 4-9 ATS following a win and just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 when playing a team with a losing record.
The Nets have been just terrible at home this season. They are 6-19 in Newark this season which puts them only in front of New Orleans for the best in home futility this season. Recently they lost to the Hornets and Wizards by a combined 29 points at home. They also hit rock bottom when they lost to the Jazz by more than 20 points at home when the Jazz were coming off of a 4 overtime game the night before. Just awful all around.
The Pacers have won 3 straight this season vs. the Nets and will make it 10 straight overall with a win. This would normally lean us towards the Nets, but they have been so bad this season at home we have no reason to believe they will turn it around tonight. Although we could see a scenario where the Nets cover we are leaning more towards taking the Pacers and laying the points in this one and before betting read a sports book review.
