The Bulls are coming off of a rare subpar performance in losing to the Nuggets by 17 in their last outing. The game was close in the first half, but the Bulls saw their door get blown in during the third quarter which blew the game wide open. The high scorer for the Bulls vs. the Nuggets was CJ Watson who paced them with 17. If you are the Bulls, considering the success you have had thus far this season they are probably looking at the game as one bad performance and are ready to move on. Something the Bulls have done to perfection nearly all season thus far.
The Hawks on the other hand are coming off of a loss as well to the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 108-101. The loss ended what was a 4 game winning streak for Atlanta. Josh Smith led the Hawks with a staggering 30 points and 18 rebounds and Jeff Teague chipped in with 15. The Hawks star, Joe Johnson, had an off night and had just 11 points on 4 of 14 shooting. As a team the Hawks did not take care of the basketball and had 22 turnovers in the contest. Tonight will be the Hawks’ sixth game in eight days which could lead to a bit of a fatigue factor.
The Bulls on the season are 2-1 vs. the Hawks in including a 90-79 win in their last meeting of February 20th.
While the Hawks have been on the winning end of things lately we could see fatigue being a bit of a factor in this one. Couple that with the fact that the Bulls will be looking to bounce back from a rare subpar performance and I think you have the ingredients you need for a Chicago win in Atlanta to bet at sports books.
