The Sacramento Kings welcome the Los Angeles Clippers to town as the Clippers are trying to avoid back to back losses. For up to date NBA odds visit our friends at Bovada sportsbook.
The Clippers played a motivated Lakers team last night and it showed through the performances of Andrew Bynum and Kobe Bryant. The duo combined for 67 points in a 113-108 Lakers win at Staples Center. The Clippers struggled defensively and they simply did not have an answer for Bynum. Their offense was good as usual as Caron Butler scored 28 points, and Chris Paul had a great all-around game scoring 22 points and dishing out 16 assists. The loss last night to their cross-town rival did snap a six game win streak by the Clippers.
It was not a misprint when you saw that DeMarcus Cousins scored 41 points in a 109-100 loss to the Suns. Those are staggering stats, but in the end the Kings would lose for their seventh time in nine games. The duo of Isaiah Thomas and Terrence Williams combined for 41 points and outside of that trio the Kings got little else on offense from anyone else in uniform.
Head to head these teams have played once on March 1 with the Clippers coming out victorious by a score of 108-100. The Kings are 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings at home, but just 1-3-1 ATS in the last 5 games overall.
This is a tough one to predict, but we think we are going with the Clippers in this one. We like them bouncing back from a tough loss and think they will be able to control DeMarcus Cousins in the middle for sportsbook betting.
