The Utah Jazz will be looking to make their playoff move tonight as they play the Orlando Magic. All odds for all sports can be found at Bovada sportsbook.
The Magic found out recently that they will be without center Dwight Howard for the remainder of the season while he heals from back surgery. The Magic are averaging 99.3 points per game, but as you can imagine without the presence of Howard they are seriously lacking inside when he is not available. They are coming off of a loss in their last game to the Celtics by a score of 102-98 despite 27 points from Glen Davis against his former squad. The Celtics shot a very high 54.3% from the field in the game which was really the difference.
The Jazz on the other hand have won two in a row and really have that final playoff spot in the West on their mind. Their two mot recent wins came against the Mavericks in overtime and then most recently they dismantled the Blazers by a score of 112-91 behind a great game from Devin Harris who scored 27 points. The Jazz have the same record as the Suns, but the Suns hold the tiebreaker advantage which is why the Jazz sit in the ninth position.
Head to head, the Jazz have won 11 of the last 15 home meetings with the Magic, but the Magic own a 6-2-1 ATS record in the last nine meetings in Utah.
We are actually expecting a good effort out of the Magic today who will be playing for the first time since the news of Dwight Howard being out for the year has surfaced. We just think that the combo of Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson will be too dominant inside and will outlast the Magic in this one. Lay the points and take the Jazz who need this game in the worst way so before betting pick up sportsbook promotion codes.
