The New Orleans Saints (5-7) take on the New York Giants (7-5) Sunday at 4:25ET. NFL odds are located at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
After winning three games in a row, the Saints have now dropped their last two against the Niners and the Falcons, which bring their totals to 5-7 SU and 6-6 ATS. Brees had his three year streak of throwing a TD in every game snapped last week, but is coming off a long rest and plenty of prep time. The Saints are a dangerous team, but their chances of making the playoffs would surely come to an end with a loss this week.
The Giants are 7-5 SU and 5-6-1 ATS for the season. They have lost three of their four games and have allowed their lead in the division to dwindle to one game. A loss Sunday will put them in a position to not only lose the division, but will tighten up the wild card races as well.
The Giants are a 5 point favorite. Brees has shown that the Saints’ offense can slow down in the face of a dominant pass rush, which the Giants have. However, with a long rest, the Saints should be able to keep this close. Take the Brees +5 at online sports books.
