The Knicks (3-0) could not have asked for a better start to their playoffs. They took care of business on their home floor in the first two games of the series and now took Game 3 in Boston. New York dominated Game 3 in Boston and won the game, 90-76. The Knicks did suffer a loss in Game 3, however. J.R. Smith was ejected when he elbowed Jason Terry. Smith finished with 15 points and now will have to sit out Game 4 as the NBA announced that Smith will be suspended for one more game. Carmelo Anthony finished with 26 points but did not get to the free throw line once all game. Anthony usually gets a bunch of points from the line. Raymond Felton scored 15 points and added 10 assists in his Game 4 performance.
The Celtics (0-3) are up against the wall now and need four wins in a row in order to advance out of the first round of the playoffs. Jeff Green logged 44 minutes and scored 21 points. Green has been the man on the offensive end for the Celtics this post season. Green added nine rebounds and four assists.
