Like most of the other series, the Knicks and Pacers are deadlocked at one game apiece as the series will now shift to Indiana for Games 3 and 4.Get NBA odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
The Knicks (1-1) lost Game 1 by seven but were able to bounce back in Game 2 in terrific fashion. The Knicks crushed the Pacers 105-79 to still give them a good chance of winning this series and advancing. Carmelo Anthony scored 32 points in Game 2 and had nine rebounds as well. Iman Shumpert was second on the Knicks in scoring with just 15 points but he was efficient, 7-11 from the field. Amar’e Stoudemire is expected to play in Game 3 in Indiana. Stoudemire was yet to play a game in the postseason this year and has not played a game since the middle of the regular season.
Indiana (1-1) was destroyed in Game 2 but are still in great position after they won one road game in New York. This gives them the opportunity to be up 3-1 if they win both of their home games in Indiana. Paul George led the Pacers in scoring yet again, with 20 points. George Hill scored 12 points and added seven assists in Game 2. The seond game of the series could hurt some morale but it is just one loss and gives the Pacers a great chance to move on past the Knicks.
The Knicks are 4-4 against the spread and the Pacers are 5-3 ATS.
Game 2 spoke volumes and I think it continues in Game 3 for New York. However, the Pacers lost two lopsided games in Atlanta to the Hawks in the first round so take the points and New York at the sportsbook.
