The Pacers look to capitalize on their road win to kick off the series and are trying to take a 3-1 lead back to New York. Get NBA odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
New York (1-2) are going to need to win a road game in order to have a chance in this series and advance to play in the Eastern Conference Finals. They failed on their first chance, in Game 3, when they lost 82-71. New York was unable to outscore the Pacers in any quarter and made just three three-pointers compared to the Pacers’ 10 made from long distance. Carmelo Anthony was the only Knick to score in double figures in Game 3 with 21 points. Anthony added five rebounds but he is going to need a lot more help for the Knicks to have a chance in this series. J.R. Smith, the Sixth Man of the Year, scored just nine points off the bench in 25 minutes.
Indiana (2-1) keeps chugging along through this series. They won the huge road game that they needed at some point and then took care of business on their home floor in Game 3. Roy Hibbert scored 24 points in an offensive explosion for him and brought in 12 rebounds as well. Paul George had yet another great all-around performance with 14 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Indiana only got eight points from their bench and that needs to improve for the future.
The Knicks are 4-5 against the spread in the postseason while the Pacers are 6-3 ATS.
I have a feeling this series is going to go seven games but I feel like the Pacers will win Game 4 and take a 3-1 series lead at best online sportsbooks.
