New York (6-4) was off to a very good start before they ran into the struggling Phillies. Philadelphia took down the Mets two nights in a row in Citizens Bank Park. The series with the Phillies was the only one that the Mets lost this season. They won two out of three against the Miami Marlins and the San Diego Padres. Daniel Murphy has been the best at the plate for the Mets so far this season as he is hitting .368 so far this season. John Buck is hitting over .350 and has over six home runs in just 10 games. Matt Harvey will pitch on Saturday for New York. Harvey is 2-0 this season and his ERA is less than 1.

The Twins (4-6) have won two out of their three series so far this season. They opened up against the Tigers and won two out of three. They went to Baltimore and stole two out of three from the very good Orioles team. Their huge let down came in Kansas City when the Royals won all three against the Twins. Minnesota has lost the series opener against the Mets and will now look to try to get off this four game losing streak. Scott Diamond will get the start for the Twins on Saturday. Diamond went 12-9 last season as a starter.

The Mets are 5-5 against the line this season and the Twins are 4-6.
