The Interleague Rivalry Week matchup that is affectionately known as the Subway Series shifts locations after two games. The Yankees will now host the next two games in Yankee Stadium after playing the first two at Citi Field, the Mets home. MLB odds can be found at Top Bet sportsbook.
The Mets (19-29 entering Tuesday) finally got themselves a victory after losing five straight games, and now added another one. New York lost three straight to the Reds at home and then were still at home when the charging Atlanta Braves came to town riding a six game winning streak. The Braves won the first to games to extend their streak and to add to the Mets’ streak but New York was able to win the final game to avoid the sweep as well. LaTroy Hawkins pitched one inning for the Mets and received the victory to go to 1-0 on the year. In the first game of the series against the Yankees, the Mets got the victory, 2-1.
The Yankees (30-20 entering Tuesday) have been shaky in their last 10 games, going just 5-5 entering this series, which is not good enough for a team that sits 11 games above .500 and is not far from the best record in the Majors. The Yankees will start David Phelps on Wednesday.
The Mets are an awful 18-30 against the spread and the Yanks are 28-22 ATS.
I am going to pick the Yankees once again, they are just a better team and to take the Bronx Bombers Click Here.
