The St. Louis Cardinals will continue their four game set with the New York Mets on Tuesday. The Cardinals took the first game of the series 6-3 Monday night. MLB odds are located at Bovada sportsbook.
The Mets have been off to a predictable start to their season only going 14-21 and in the cellar of the NL East. If it wasn’t for the lowly Marlins the Mets would be in last place. The Mets have found a gem in Matt Harvey, but he won’t be on the mound Tuesday. Instead it will be Dillon Gee who has failed to impress thus far.
The Cardinals have won 8 of 10 entering Tuesdays game. They are hot and seem to be firing on all cylinders. They are led by Yadier Molina, Allen Craig and Carlos Beltran who have all had good starts to the season. They are sending John Gast to the mound. It will be his first start of the season. He is replacing the injured Jake Westbrook.
The Mets are 13-22 against the spread so far this season and the Cardinals are 21-16.
If the Mets are going to win a game in this series it’s this one. I expect them to avoid the sweep by taking this as their only win out of the four they play at www.sportsbookroom.com.
