The New York Yankees in the Detroit Tigers meet for game one of their American League Championship Series tonight from Yankee Stadium. All odds for this game can be found at Bovada sportsbook.
The Tigers advanced to the ALCS by beating Oakland in five games and received a stellar pitching performance in game five from Justin Verlander. Although they won the decisive game five their pitching staff for the ALCS is now a bit disoriented. They will start Doug Fister in game one of the series versus the Yankees. In his only start versus the Yankees this season sister allowed just two runs in six innings of work.
The Yankees also survived a five-game intense series by beating the Orioles last night. They too received a great complete game pitching performance from their ace CC Sabathia. They will send experience to the mound in game one in the form of Andy Pettitte who makes the start. The Tigers did not see Pettitte this season, but many of their players have faced him in years past. Overall they are actually 33 for 92 with 20 RBIs versus the lefty which are pretty good numbers.
The Yankees we feel will build on the momentum from last night and will be ready to go in game one. Give us the Yankees as Moneyline favorites in this game but first read a sports book review.
