The Yankees travel to Colorado to take on the Rockies for the first game of a three game series. Check the MLB odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Yankees (18-12) enter this series after playing the Athletics for three games and New York dropped two of those three. C.C. Sabathia lost yet another game on Friday and he is now 4-3 this season. New York is coming off a season in which they ousted their division rival Baltimore Orioles in the American League Division Series before they were eliminated. The Yankees are looking like they can definitely make another run this season as they have gotten off to a good start to the season. Robinson Cano is having a very good season and is hitting .325 on 40 hits. Cano has nine home runs and 19 runs batted in, all of those stats lead the team. Hiroki Kuroda will start on Monday for New York. Kuroda is 4-1 in six starts and has an ERA of 2.25.
The Rockies (18-13) have a good record to begin this new season but are just 5-9 in their last 14 games. They are coming off a three game series with the Rays and lost two of those games on their home field. Jorge De La Rosa will start on Tuesday and is 2-3 this season.
New York is 15-15 against the spread and the Rockies are 19-12 ATS.
Kuroda has been remarkable for the Yankees this year and I will give them the edge in this game because of that at www.sportsbookroom.com.
