The New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays will play the second game of their three game set tomorrow in New York. Alex Colome and CC Sabathia are the scheduled starters respectively. MLB odds can be located at Top Bet sportsbook.
New York enters 3 ½ games back of the Boston Red Sox for first place in the AL East, and 1 ½ games back of the Orioles for second. They send CC Sabathia to the hill tonight who comes in with a 7-5 record, 3.93 ERA and 1.23 WHIP. He has won three out of his last four starts including tossing eight innings and giving up five hits and two earned runs in Los Angeles five days ago against the Angels. In his last two home starts, Sabathia has pitched a combined 16 1/3 innings surrendering 13 hits and giving up just five runs. New York has lost two in a row and three of their last ten, but have a 2-15 record in the Bronx this season.
The Rays are just fives games back of the first place Red Sox in the East. They have won four of their last ten games but are riding a two game winnings streak. They send Alex Colome to the mound tonight who has won his only start this season. In that game back on May 30th, Colome pitched 5 2/3 innings giving up five hits and not surrendering an earned run. He also struck out seven while walking just one in the matchup.
I will side with the home Yankees tonight with their “ace” on the mound tonight. I think CC will propel the Yankees to a closer position for first place in the East and to take New York Click Here.
