Both the Yankees and the Rays come in to the series against one another after struggling in their last series’. MLB odds are found at Top Bet sportsbook.
The Yankees (28-18) won three games in a row, including a game in Baltimore against the Orioles. But, the Bronx Bombers followed that up with two straight losses to the Orioles. Two of those three games against the Orioles finished in ten innings, with each of them winning one. David Phelps started just four games so far in this season, but he is scheduled to get his fifth on Friday. Phelps is 2-2 in those four games and has played in a total of 10 games. The Rays (24-22) also lost two of three in their last series, and they were also on the road. Tampa traveled to Toronto to play the Blue Jays the last three days. Toronto won two of those games but none of the three games were decided by more than two runs in this competitive series. Tampa Bay will throw Roberto Hernandez on Friday. Hernandez is 2-4 in eight starts and his ERA is 5.24. His ERA ballooned after giving up five runs in just two innings in his last start.
The Yankees are 26-20 against the spread while the Rays are 25-21.
I like the Yankees in this game. They have a better offense and I have more faith in their starting pitcher compared to Hernandez of the Rays so to take NY Click Here.
