The NFL odds from Monday Night Football have the home team Denver Broncos favored by -14 points with an over under line set at 48 ½ points. Those who play on the Denver Broncos on the money line will lay -1400 odds while a money line play on the Oakland Raiders will bring back +850 odds.
In their meetings last year at Denver it was the Broncos posting the 37-6 home victory as a -6 ½ point betting favorite. So a year later the Broncos will be laying 7 ½ more points in the 2013 meeting. Denver has look good thus far as they put up 49 points at home to the Baltimore Ravens and last week the team traveled to the New York Giants and put up 41 points in a road win. Denver has been an outstanding offensive team in 2013 as the club is putting up 462 yards per game and by averaging 45 points a game they are the best in the league. Peyton Manning is leading the top passing offense as the club is generating 376 yards passing per game. On the defensive side of the ball the club is 32nd and last in pass defense as opponents are throwing for 344yards per game against them. The Raiders are upgraded on the offensive side of the football behind quarterback Terrelle Pryor who can extend drives with his legs. This will be his second road game of the year and they were able to score 17 points at Indianapolis. They are running the football for nearly 200 yards per game and that’s because Pryor has ran 22 times for 162 yards and a 7 ½ yards per rush average that Carson Palmer would never have generated under center. Denver is going to light up the scoreboard and Oakland has enough dynamics on offense to push this total over.
With our NFL pick for Monday we will play on the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos to play over the total of 48 ½ points but first check out a sports book review.
