Ohio State (28-7) has had this NCAA Tournament set up almost perfectly for them to reach the Final Four. First, they were matched up with Gonzaga, who many people believed never deserved a 1-seed in the first place, and an easier region than the Midwest or South. But nevertheless, the Buckeyes beat up Iona in the Round of 64 and then survived Iowa State in a thriller to advance to be one of the final 16 teams in the country. Aaron Craft buried a three at the buzzer against Iowa State to break the tie and send Ohio State into the second weekend. DeShaun Thomas has been pretty remarkable as a scorer this season for Ohio State and is so hard to defend with his size and athleticism.
Arizona (27-7) started off the season in incredible fashion and once held a top five ranking in the country. They started to fall off towards the end of the year but still received a 6-seed in the West. Many predicted them to get beat by Belmont in the Round of 64 but it was never close as the Wildcats won by 17. Then, Arizona was able to get matched up with Harvard in the Round of 32 and dismantled them by 23 points.
