The Rockets have now won two straight games and will have a home game in Game 6 against the Thunder, who look to end this series again. Get NBA odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Thunder (3-2) are really missing Russell Westbrook and are now 1-2 in this series without him. Kevin Durant scored 36 points in Game 5 but did not score a single point in the fourth quarter when it really mattered. Reggie Jackson, Westbrook’s replacement, scored 20 points and did not play bad by any stretch of the imagination. Someone needs to help Durant on the offensive end now that Westbrook is not available. They don’t have real scorers on the floor besides Jackson and Durant. Serge Ibaka scored 14 points and had nine rebounds, but missed a lay-up at the buzzer to force overtime in Game 4 and now that could really come back to hurt them.
The Rockets (2-3) have fought back and will have a home game in Game 6 and will try to force a Game 7 in OKC. James Harden and Chandler Parsons have led the charge for Houston in these last two games. Harden scored 31 in Game 5 and it is the third time this series that he has had over 30. Parsons struggled in Game 5 but Omer Asik scored 21 and had 11 rebounds to make up for it.
The Rockets have covered the spread in three of the five games this series.
I actually think that this series will go seven games. I believe that Houston will win Game 6 at home and force a Game 7 so first check out online sportsbook reviews.
